1. Information we collect automatically
When you visit the site, our servers and analytics tools automatically collect limited technical information, including:
- IP address (typically anonymized or truncated by our analytics provider)
- Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution
- Pages you view on this site and the order in which you view them
- The referring URL (the page you came from, including search keywords where provided)
- UTM campaign parameters if you arrive from a paid advertisement or marketing link
We use this information in aggregate to understand which reviews are useful, improve page performance, and measure advertising effectiveness. We do not sell raw analytics data to third parties.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:
- Essential functionality — a session cookie that preserves your campaign parameters across pages so outbound links are tracked correctly. This cookie expires after 30 days.
- Analytics — cookies from Google Analytics and related tools that help us count visits and understand site usage in aggregate.
- Advertising — cookies from Google Ads and, in the future, Meta's advertising platform that help those networks measure whether ads led to visits or purchases.
Most browsers let you refuse cookies or delete them after the fact. Doing so will not prevent you from reading the site but may limit some functionality and will affect how your visit is counted in our analytics.
3. Information you provide directly
We do not currently operate email signup forms, accounts, comments, or e-commerce checkout on this site. If you email us directly, we use your message only to respond to you. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you explicitly ask to be added.
4. Third parties and affiliate links
Outbound product links on this site are affiliate links routed through our tracker. When you click one, you are taken to the merchant's own website, where that merchant's privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the data practices of merchants we link to. Read the destination site's privacy policy before completing a purchase if this matters to you.
The third-party services that may receive limited visit information include:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Meta advertising (for future Meta-sourced campaigns)
- Cloudflare (content delivery, bot protection)
- Affiliate networks and individual merchant tracking platforms
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, and similar statutes elsewhere) may give you specific rights to access, correct, or delete information about you, or to opt out of certain uses. Because we do not maintain user accounts or personally-identifying profiles, most requests resolve quickly. To make a request, email hello@womenwellnessguide.com with a subject line of "Privacy request" and a description of what you're asking for.
You can also opt out of Google's personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and you can use the NAI opt-out to opt out of interest-based advertising across many networks.
6. Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please email hello@womenwellnessguide.com and we will remove it promptly.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be noted clearly at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
8. Contact
