Our mission
We write for women researching wellness products who want a calm, practical comparison rather than dramatic before-and-after marketing. Our goal is to help readers identify the most consumer-transparent options in a category — products with clearly disclosed ingredients, reasonable advertised claims, fair refund and subscription terms, and consistent customer feedback — so the buying decision is informed rather than rushed.
We are not medical professionals, and nothing on this site is medical advice. We recommend consulting a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new wellness product, particularly when pregnant, nursing, managing a medical condition, or taking medications.
How we compare products
Our reviews are consumer-research comparisons, not clinical evaluations. We evaluate publicly available information about each product against criteria that matter to a careful shopper:
- Ingredient transparency — are individual ingredients disclosed by name and amount, or hidden inside a proprietary blend?
- Advertised claims and realism — does the brand stay within reasonable bounds, or promise specific outcomes on specific timelines?
- Pricing, value and subscription terms — how does the offer compare across the category, and are auto-ship and cancellation terms disclosed up front?
- Refund policy — is the refund window long enough for a fair evaluation, and are the conditions clearly stated?
- Customer feedback patterns — what consistent themes appear across reviews aggregated from multiple sources?
- Brand transparency — is contact information published, and are claims supported by sources or third-party verification?
- Ease of purchase — is the checkout flow honest about charges, terms, and any subscription enrollment?
- Avoidance of unrealistic claims — does the brand avoid medical-level promises and dramatic transformation framing?
- Quality signals — does the brand publish certificates of analysis, use third-party certifications, or otherwise verify what is in the product?
We do not perform clinical or medical testing. Comparisons are based on the brand's own product pages, label disclosures, refund and subscription terms, and customer feedback aggregated from retailers and independent review platforms.
Editorial independence
We earn affiliate commissions when readers click certain links on this site and make a purchase. That is how the site pays for itself, and we disclose this on every page that contains affiliate links. Commission rates do not influence ranking placement, and we do not accept payment to omit a product from a comparison or to change its placement.
Any brand relationship beyond a standard affiliate commission — for example, a sponsored placement — is clearly labeled on the page where it appears.
Who writes for us
Reviews on this site are produced by the Women Wellness Guide Editorial Team. We are not a medical publication and we do not provide medical advice. If you are considering a supplement, device, or therapy and you have underlying health conditions, take prescription medications, or are pregnant or nursing, please talk with a qualified healthcare professional before purchasing.
A note about the category
Weight management is genuinely complex and is influenced by many factors — including diet, exercise, sleep, medical history, medications, age, and genetics. No over-the-counter product can credibly guarantee a specific weight-loss outcome on a specific timeline, and any brand that does should be approached with caution. Our role is to help shoppers identify the more consumer-transparent options in a category, not to promise particular results.
